The Digital Marketing Institute speaks to DMI Member Carson Edwards Jr.
Carson has a Bachelor and MBA in business management and marketing and of course is a DMI Power Member and has a CDMP designation as part of his successful completion of the DMI Pro in 2019.
Carson is based in Washington DC and has over 25 years of experience in the Hospitality sector. He is currently a Global Sales Account Executive at Marriott International.
In his current role, Carson leads and manages an account portfolio of approximately 50 key association accounts that generates $50 million in revenue annually across Marriott’s Premium, Luxury and Select brands.
We discuss his career to date as he explains the key moments, advice and achievements that have shaped his perspective. We also delve into how the pandemic has affected his industry and how he and his team have adapted and grown during this time. Carson gives advice on a number of different topics such as keeping up with a rapidly developing digital marketing landscape to how we can acknowledge diversity better in the workplace.
